Use our Versions page to keep track of the changes in the Track 8 app.
Grrr! Track 8 crashes . . .
Have you rebooted your device? It is a simple
answer, but often is the easiest solution. If
that doesn't fix the problem, make sure you are
running the most recent version of iOS ( 5.1.1 ).
To find out your version, on your device, go to
Settings > General > About > Version.
If any of the above steps still didn't fix the problem, then
contact our support team.
Music isn't Playing or Album Art Not All There
This is usually caused by using iTunes Match. Each device seems to react differently when integrating this into Track 8. Usually, force quitting the app and rebooting your iDevice will solve these problems. There is also a bug in iOS 6 that may cause an issue with album artwork.
The Home Screen is Empty or Doesn't Have All of the Blocks
This is common if you haven't used your iPad to play music often. The app will do its best to display these blocks, but if it doesn't have enough data, it will leave out that block. To remedy this, use your device to play music more frequently and these blocks will start to populate.
Can I use Airplay with Track 8?
Yes! Track 8 now supports Airplay from inside the app. You will find an icon to turn on Airplay on the Now Playing screen. You can also use AirPlay Mirroring to display a simplified version of what is currently playing.
Can I use Shared Libraries?
We are still investigating if we have the ability to
access that information on your device.
Does Track 8 scrobble to Last.FM?
Yes, Track 8 can scrobble your tracks to Last.FM, but currently the app needs to be open to do so.
